The Directorate operates on two main fronts: Prevention and Correction. Prevention (The Shield): They teach employees about ethical behavior and create systems that make it difficult for corruption to happen (e.g., digitizing payments so cash doesn't change hands). Correction (The Sword): They investigate reports of misconduct, bribery, or embezzlement and ensure that those responsible face consequences.
